TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
